this time of the year

thoughts of Christmas time: as a young'un I would lay under the Christmas tree after it had been decorated with lights, and all the little decorations that Mama used to put in the tree and I would look upward. There in the middle of all that glimmer, was a world of wonderment. my imagination would soar.The imagination of a child is free and it flies and it soars. I still get that way. I have not forgotten this.

My Dad's story of being enlisted in the Army

When my father was drafted into the military during WWII(1944 to be exact),  he happened to be in downtown Dallas and was confronted by an Army enlister who brought him and a friend of his in right off the street. They were told they were being drafted and were not given the option to back out nor back away. My dad being the man of honor that he is, went right along with the Army officer and he never put up a fight. He knew it was his duty to do all he could for his country and therefore enlisted that day and he was taken from the area onto his destination of boot camp. His mother didn't even know what happened to him that day as the Army gave him no time to even call his mother and father. He was able to get in touch with them several days later to let them know where he was and what had happened. My Dad never ever regretted any of it as he knew what his call to duty was about and he went in with his head held high. I salute my father Robert H. Chovanec SR for his bravery and for his willingness to serve his country without questions asked. To my dad and all other dads and family and friends, honoring you all for the serving of this country.

hopes and dreams

We all have hopes and dreams and they come to us because we know (down deep inside) ultimately before we even realize we know, where we want to be in life. Hopes are the energy that we push forth for the things we want out of life and dreams are the rope that ties us and our hopes together. Hopes and dreams go together hand in hand. Listen to what your dreams are and hope for the best.

Its the time of year

We begin to move inward, not only with our actions but with our thoughts as well. Its dark outside and it is getting colder. We settle in for warmth and comfort and some of us contemplate what we will be doing when the light and warmth of the warmer seasons return.

Take this time to reflect on what you have done in your life and see what it is that you might do differently to improve things in your life, or if you will have to make adjustments at all. Basically, pull the blanket of thought around you, feel the warmth of positiveness flow through you and snuggle up with life and see what dreams and goals you will accomplish this next season. Life is, after all, what you make of it.

My email from the Universe

I receive a positive affirmation email every morning through the work week. Here is what it said this morning and what I got from it.

"What if you could choose to live in a world where your ultimate success and happiness were guaranteed, Angel, yet during that life, this knowledge would be hidden from you - would you?
Just wondering,
    The Universe

And what if, Angel, you'd be bathed in love since birth, but you'd only discover this once you began sharing it - would you roll the dice? "

 

This struck me in a certain way this morning that I am blessed to be given the ability to be able to have the knowledge of ultimate happiness and success and that it is not hidden from me. It is up to me to say what exactly is my happiness and what is my success.

As for the second part, I know what it is like to be bathed in love since birth, but I also have been given the opportunity to be able to share it with others....how truly wonderful my life is.

Or so it is said. My part in this world has gone from a very good loving family to hopefully to be as loving as I possibly can be. I know that some may think differently as me or may do things differently then me and that really is ok.
My part as a healer has been one of many experiences and much to my amazement, I have had some successes. I can only help those who want to help themselves, though. There is no force strong enough to make anyone any way anyone else wants them to be. They have to allow for positiveness to come through and let the love take over. Love for the self. 

Cleaning house.....my personal house...body, mind and spirit

Today was another turning point in my life. Guess the croning has started. I am cleaning my personal house. Cleaning out the negative people from my life who refuse to help themselves and only want people to pity them for the most part. I have been doing much cleaning of my body, meaning eating better, going to the gym, etc. I have been cleaning out the mind as well by meditating an trying to stay as positive as possible. Now the spirit is finding that because all the house work is in other places, that it wants to be clean as well too. So, I have decided to rid my life of those who do not have any intention of doing better for themselves, who continue down a path of negativity, and who just don't care who they hurt.
By doing this I choose to release the bad feelings they have brought to me, that I have allowed to affect me and mine and be rid of them once and for all. Starting new and clean for the New Year....my pagan New Year.

Unconditional Love and Self-Acceptance

When we were babies, we knew unconditional love, but over time, as we grow up our thoughts become conditioned by the world around us. We learn the behaviours that work to survive, we learn whether we are good or bad, what is acceptable and what is not. Deep down don�t we all crave this love? Though it often feels lost to us.
So often we seek or demand love from others, but are completely unable to give it.
The reality is that if we do not hold this love for ourselves, we will not be able to give it to others or expect others to feel that way about us. It�s harsh, but how can we expect others to love us unconditionally if we cannot?

Most people could do with building or nurturing their self-love.

When all is said and done...

All you have is you. You have to answer to yourself. If there are things (whether negative or positive) that are happening in your life, it is ultimately YOU who has allowed it to happen. Look at your energies...are they jumping? Maybe you need grounding. Are they low and maybe making you lathargic? Maybe you need to meditate and charge yourself with sky energy.

There are ways to make your life better.All you have to do is ask for it and keep yourself open to those positive energies.

first day on my blog

Ok so here I am in the life given to me by something bigger than myself and something higher than myself. It is here in this earthly plain that I found love and caring by a family and by friends. The love of my life has come in my later years of life and for this I am thankful that I am able to experience such a love that it humbles me.

I am blessed and I am grateful for the experiences in my life and will continue to seek out those who need assistance and I hope they seek me out as well. The knowledge of the otherworld that I bring to this life can be so deep, not many understand this but my goal os to help them understand.
